What the Next Decade of Technology Has in Store

Although we have seen phones, computers and many other forms of technology have advanced since the beginning of the decade. As we approach the new decade the question is in the air, what will we see happen in the new decade? Think about how in 2010 when the Blackberry was the phone to have we never would have imagined what the next ten years had in store for us. 2030 may seem like an eternity away right now, but let's see how drastically phones could possibly change in this upcoming period of time.
As far as we know time travel is nonexistent so we really don't have any clear idea what cell phones will look like in the upcoming decade. But after seeing our hand held technology evolve in the last decade we can only assume that the advances will increase more dramatically in the years to come. Having more advanced technology now will help give us the power to make these changes in a shorter period of time.
Folding Display
Folding phones were recently introduced to the technology market by Samsung but according to NBC News, the technology has been proven inefficient and the phone is known to be poor quality. But in the next decade we should expect to see this recent advancement improve and become a part of our everyday lives.
Rapid Network Speeds
4g will soon be the internet speed of the past as a 5g connection will become widely used in the next few years. BBC says that 5g mobile internet speed will increase download speed to provide the population with a more efficient source of data. That being said it is considered whether 6g will be available by 2030 and how much more efficient will it be than what we are currently shifting over to.
There are still many questions that revolve around the possibilities that technology will bring in the future. Our phones have become an important piece in most peoples lives and only time can answer our many questions. Who knows, maybe a new device will surface that will make cell phones an electronic of the past. But as far as we know anything could happen.
